Student Financial Services
Student Financial Services handles all financial situations within Oakland University. Oakland
University participates in a variety of financial assistance programs
to help students pay for their educational expenses. Assistance can be
awarded by Oakland University, federal and state governments, and by
private sources.
To receive full consideration for all programs, it is recommended that all students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year, as soon as possible after January 1 for the next school year. Awards depend on the availability of funds.
Financial
Aid Award notifications begin in March. OU Student Financial
Services sends an email notification to the OU email address with
instructions for viewing awards on SAIL.

Career Services
Career Services prepares students and alumni to attain lifelong career success as they make career decisions, pursue experiential opportunities, and secure employment with various resources.

Graham Health and Counseling Center
Graham Health Center provides convenient, affordable, high quality health care right on campus. We are staffed by certified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who have extensive education and clinical training. A physician visits weekly to review cases, consult, and see patients who require physician care.
Same-day appointments are usually available. Walk-ins are accepted for sick visits but wait times are less predictable. For new patients, registration forms can be downloaded and completed before you arrive. Plan at least for a 60- to 90-minute visit. Bring any insurance card and student ID whenever you visit GHC. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a $15 no show fee.

Center for Student Activities
The Center for Student Activities is the basis for all student life on and off campus. The
mission of the Center for Student Activities and Leadership Development
is to compliment classroom learning through co-curricular experiences
that promote student’s engagement with the university, local and global
communities.

The
Center for Student Activities is located on the lower level of the
Oakland Center in room number 49. They are open Monday through Thursday
8 am - 6:30 pm and Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

Student Technology Center
The Student Technology Center (STC) is
the headquarters for the promotion, instruction and support of
technology literacy. From beginners looking to learn the basics to
experts seeking to hone their skills, the STC’s training, education and
hands-on learning experiences offers on-campus services to meet OU
students’ ever-increasing technology needs.

The
STC includes both Mac and PC computers. Some of the equipment the STC
lends out are iPads, laptops, camcorders, and recorders. The STC is
located in the lower level of the Oakland Center in 44 Oakland Center.
The STC is open in the Fall/Winter:
